Forage Your Dinner

We'll be meeting at a location around 20-30 minutes from downtown Sylva. We will learn and forage for a couple of hours, prepare dinner, and enjoy together!

Locations: our location always depends on the week's scouting. In order to ensure the best foraging, we likely won't know the location until the week of and directions will be sent by the night before. Sometimes we'll be able to forage and prepare foods in the same location, sometimes we'll need to make a drive back to the shop (this also goes for weather - ah, spring!).

Foraging of Food: please bring appropriate footwear, clothing, and other accessories you may need for your comfort (walking stick, bug spray, towel, layered clothing, etc) and anything else you'd like (plant books/guides, samples of freshly found fungi, your own basket) but aren't required. We'll have baskets and diggers and other tools.
